goldspirals asked: I've never done drugs. I don't know what a substance high feels like. I love the idea of it though. I'm glad that people can smoke weed or eat mushrooms and feel completely different about themselves and the world around them. Of course, any drug that's physically addictive I hate with a passion.
goldspirals asked: Thank ya. Want to know a secret?
goldspirals asked: Why hello.

See, when I do this, people are always like, “BRANDON, GET OFF THE FUCKING GROUND.”

Trent Reznor is actually going to start working on the Fight Club Musical. Think about it, he’s working with David Fincher, who made the film adaptation of Fight Club. The rumor mill has been stated that this was in the works, and now he’s got a fucking academy award for making an Aphex Twin soundtrack for a movie. He better do the Musical, and I better see Meatloaf singing as Bob with...

That makes a lot more sense.

Finally satisfied with "Removed:" not content.
The cathartic effect of writing is only second to its artistic manifest. In a lot of ways, “Removed” is my moving on from both the death of a good friend of mine and the break-up that occurred at the same time. If it were a memoir, it would be entirely symbolic of such an occasion, but I feel that it opened me up to a different kind of discipline within writing.
What started out as a...

Two of its apparent planets share the same orbit around their star. If the discovery is confirmed, it would bolster a theory that Earth once shared its orbit with a Mars-sized body that later crashed into it, resulting in the moon’s formation.
The two planets are part of a four-planet system dubbed KOI-730. They circle their sun-like parent star every 9.8 days at exactly the...

"Removed" complete.
It’s sad, really. Done with the first draft.
4 1/2 hours later: "Removed"?
Not quite. I’ve almost finalized the details for “Removed” to make it a complete piece, but some things are still bugging me.

Embarking to 'finish' "Removed."
In a piece of short fiction, never have I invested so much time and emotion to a single idea, to people I don’t know. It is like transcribing the details of the relationship of these two people, Dahlia and Rad, and why they are torn apart by something relatively common, infidelity. But it became apparent to me in the writing process that Dahlia’s character was even keeping something...
